The winemaker describes this as “a southern red where syrah, cabernet sauvignon, and carignan meet in a field of white gravel.” This blend ages for 27 months; 12 months in steel and 13 months in old oak barrels (the syrah and cab.) The wine is fresh with aromas and flavors of leather, black currant, and spice. Perfect with duck and couscous.
