Domaine Eugène Meyer Pinot Blanc

Pinot Blanc is a grape that is widely grown but doesn’t usually stand on its own, except in Alsace and in parts of Northern Italy. The grape is derived from Pinot Gris, itself a form of Pinot Noir, and it’s flavor is similar to a light Chardonnay. Alsatian Pinot Blancs are usually a little spicy with smooth, creamy fruit – sort of middle of the road spicy and aromatic.
