100% Malbec
When making the Buenas Ondas red wines, 30% of the wine is treated with French oak staves, middle toast, during fermentation. Another 30% is treated with micro-oxygenation for 40 days. Then all of the wine undergoes maloactic fermentation and is fined with bentonite.
Malbec is Argentina’s most famous grape and while this grape is a native of southwest France where it was used to soften Bordeaux blends, it’s Argentina that has propelled Malbec into the hearts and minds of wine drinkers everywhere! Dark fruits with rich herbal notes on the nose and palate. The tannins are rich and velvety and don’t take away from the ripe red and black fruit flavors.
