Navarrsotillo is a small family farm of approximately 60 hectare (150 acres) located in La Rioja/Navarra region in northern spain. It was founded in 1995 by brother Andrés and Ramón Serrano, and their cousin, Luis Ruiz. The land, however, had been farmed by the family for many years prior to establishing the winery. The vineyards and the wine making are all certified organic by the Controlling Body for Ecological Agriculture of La Rioja.
The winery itself is a state-0f-the art facility built in 1998. All equipment uses leading-edge technology and there are stainless steel vats and piping, temperature controlled rooms and laboratories, and an aging cellar with American and French oak barrels.
