Navarrsotillo “Noemus” Rioja Red

Appellation: Rioja

85 % Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, 5% Mazuelo

All of the Navarrsotillo winery’s activity is supported by modern facilities. The wines are aged in barrels made of French and American oak, and climate-controlled cellars maintain precision in all aspects of the process.  This painstaking work is attested by the certifications of our quality management, environmental management and food safety systems. Our products are made with NOP-USDA certified organic grapes .

Current production volume is about 700,000 kg (1.5 million pounds) of grapes a year. They use 500 oak barrels in the process (80% American – 20% French) which are replaced at the rate of about 90 barrels a year.

Noemus (The Israeli patriarch Noah, said to be the first man to get drunk on wine) is a young Rioja wine, balanced, rich and juicy, with black cherry fruit and vanilla and spice overtone. Perfect with grilled foods and traditional Spanish Paella. Cellar up to three years.
