AOC: Côte Chalonnaise
100% Pinot Noir
Guy Chaumont produces red, white, and sparkling wines from his vineyards on the Côte Chalonnaise, in the center of France’s Burgundy region. Guy took over the winery from his father who converted the twelve-acre estate to organic farming in 1965. While the vineyards are not certified biodynamic by Demeter, Guy does use biodynamic practices in his production.
Rich berry and cherry flavors lead to an earthy, slightly smoky finish. Pairs well with Roast chicken, grilled salmon, beef and pork dishes.
